ECAL Digital Market x CIBONE

What if you could 3D print the objects you like directly at the store or even at home? That is the question explored by ECAL Digital Market. We are very happy and proud we could bring this fantastic project which explores the future of retail and product design through 3D printing and on site production to CIBONE Aoyama.

ECAL/Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne is regarded as one of the world leading platforms for academic and creative undertakings. Using 3D printing technology to produce items on site, ECAL Digital Market is introducing a new vision of digital manufacturing while offering functional everyday objects created by Master Product Design students as well as by a selection of ECAL-related designers.

The project looks into the possibilities of production on demand and highlights the role of the designer in this new production cycle. The ECAL Digital Market will be held until May 29th at CIBONE Aoyama.
